Sewer Line Repair in Culver City

Your #1 Choice for Conventional
Sewer Systems in Culver City

New advances in modern technology and innovation have forever changed plumbers and redefined the traditional/conventional process of “best practices” for plumbing repairs and installations.

Other companies may start with conventional methods for sewer and water line repair and replacement, but they eventually end up with a more innovative solution, but not FORD’S. We only consider conventional methods for situations when trenchless methods can’t be applied or in the rare circumstance that installing a conventional sewer system is more cost-effective for our customers.

Timeless Techniques For Effective Solutions

Old-school methods still work and have merit in some cases, but new plumbing technology has proven to be better, faster, last longer, less expensive, and much less invasive than traditional methods. Not all plumbers embraced or accepted the changing of the guard as readily as FORD’S Plumbing & Heating did. But, in situations where conventional sewer systems in Culver City are more cost-effective for our customers, FORD’S Plumbing only considers conventional methods for situations when trenchless methods can’t be applied. We aim to accommodate all needs.

How Does Our Conventional Sewer Repair and Replacement In Culver City Work?

  1. Excavation to expose old line – Excavation equipment or a hand-digging team is brought in by FORD’S to dig up the line that needs to be repaired or replaced from where it leaves the foundation to the end of the run. Areas such as driveways, yards, patios, walkways, and landscaping may be altered or even demolished to provide access to the pipe below ground. Plumbers at FORD’S carry out this technique in the most effective manner.
  2. We install a new line or repair the old line – After the old line has been exposed, it is either repaired or removed, and a new line is placed into the trench created to remove the old line. The line is checked to ensure proper grade and alignment and then re-connected on either end.
  3. Excavated materials put back – After the new or repaired line is in place, the excavated materials are put back into place, and the trenches are refilled. We try to salvage as many outdoor elements as possible, but in many cases, additional contractors are needed to restore yards, landscaping, and driveways to their original condition.
